I'm Ben, a user interface developer and designer from the UK (Portsmouth/London). I have been a professional in this capacity for over five years and have loved (almost) every minute of it.
I design and develop user interfaces across various platforms and devices with an approach that sees content and structure divorced from style.
I have a fine eye for detail, a thirst to work on the highest calibre projects and a desire to collaborate with the best individuals and organisations in the industry.
I worked intensely alongside Activision's Beachhead studio in Los Angeles to develop this companion app to the colossal, record-breaking title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Camelot UK Lotteries Limited are the operators of The National Lottery. For over two years I worked on the recently relaunched UK National Lottery website's front end and many other projects, including related apps, microsites, email communications and Camelot's own corporate web sites.

The National Lottery's website is used by millions of registered users every day. This project paid exceptional attention to detail with regards to semantic structuring of all information and received approval from AbilityNet for its levels of accessibility.
Great emphasis has been placed on optimisation of all assets, graceful degradation of enhanced features and valid mark up through out the site.

Conversion of large linear print document into dedicated online resource for share holders and public alike. This site features a highly accessible, semantically structured, W3C valid build utilising a powerful, hand built, dynamic framework to offer simple HTML to users. The focus of this project was a simple user experience that presents key information in an attractive manner.

Available as a featured app on Yahoo UK's homepage. This official application allows users to quickly learn of recent results, upcoming jackpots and good causes.
This app utilises cross domain communication, XML, PHP and the Yahoo mark up to achieve a responsive and power user experience.
Responsible for analysing business requirements and end user tasks to create an optimised workflow solution. This was achieved through intricate UI design to aid the user experience of a multi-million Euro internal system serving a large division within Deutsch Bank globally.
Due to the confidential nature of this project, examples or screenshots of work are not available.
